Screamin’ Hill on the Farm MTB Race Series

Get ready for the inaugural Screamin’ Hill Brewery Farm MTB “Circuit Style” Race Series, happening every Thursday night in May!This series is MTB only, with a minimum 2.2” tire requirement (excluding the U13 category) and NO drop bars. Each lap is approximately 2.2 miles and will feature a mix of farm dirt, grass, and gravel for a fast, fun, and flowing race experience.REGISTRATION / RACE INFO & SCHEDULEOnline pre-registration closes every week at 5 PM for Thursday’s race.Registration opens at 5:00 PM.A $10 late fee applies to same-day registration (cash or Venmo only).There is no late fee for Juniors U13 registering same day. RACE B - Men/Women 3 laps, U13 Girls/Boys 2 laps › Race Start: 5:30pmRACE A - 5 LAPS (Men/Women, Master 50+ Men/Women) › Race Start: 6:20pm NUMBER PLATE/TIMING CHIPAll riders will be given a number plate with a timing chip affixed to the bars to race. You'll use this same number plate / chip each week that you race.Please be sure that you have this number plate for each race! If you forget your number plate there will be $10 replacement fee.If you race without the number plate, you won't be scored. PODIUMS & SERIES POINTSPodium ceremonies will take place each night immediately after the final race. Series points will be awarded: 1st place = 20 points Points decrease by 1 per position down to a minimum of 1 point.2 bonus points will be awarded to riders who register for the full series.Series Tie-breaker will be:The number of first place finishes, second place finishes, third place finishes and finally placing on the last stage. CANCELLATION, REFUNDS, AND TRANSFERSPromoters reserve the right to combine categories and to cancel due to inclement weather.Refunds are ONLY available to those who purchase the optional refund insurance.NO INSURANCE = NO REFUND for any reason. In the event of cancellation, an announcement will appear on the Riptide Cycling Community Page p/b Brielle Cyclery FB page and will be emailed to all BikeReg preregistered riders. SERIES RULES AND REGISTRATIONAll required waivers must be signed before racing at Day of Registration & Check-in.Helmets must be worn at all times while riding, including warm-ups.NO earbuds are permitted during pre-ride or races.MTB only, with a minimum 2.2” tire requirement (excluding the U13 category) and NO drop bars.No course pre-riding during the races.
