Springfield All Neighborhood Ride

This recreational, 30-mile, no-drop ride winds through all 17 neighborhoods of Springfield. We will take breaks at 17 miles (Good Tunes Bike Shop in the Breckwood Plaza) and mile 28 (Rad Bike on Bridge St) to regroup before our grand finish. This is a group ride. No entry fee. Arrive by 7:45. Park in the grass lot behind Starbucks on West St. The ride starts and ends at North Riverfront Park on the CT River Walk and Bikeway. After a brief warmup on the bike path, the route heads up the hill by Bay State. It then winds through Springfield's eastern neighborhoods, featuring 3 city parks: Van Horn, Blunt, and Forest. Here, the route is relatively flat before dropping down and around Watershop Pond, then into the Southend, and downtown before hopping back onto the bike path.
