2026 Tour De Lava

Tour De Lava is beautiful ride that departs from Lava Hot springs and travels thru some of Idaho's most historic and beautiful locations. All road routes are relatively flat with rolling terrain and beautiful views. This year brings a new addition with a couple gravel routes that will depart from the Tarmac and head onto gravel after the first water stop at Whiskey Mikes for an additional 15 or 35 miles of beautiful back woods scenery off Pebble Creek Road on US Forest Service. The 30 mile gravel route could be classified as a beginner gravel ride with good road conditions and light elevation gain. There is a total elevation gain of over 4000 feet on the 50 mile gravel option making this the most difficult of all options. After the 30 mile water stop the remaining gravel for 50 mile distance is high intermediate/advanced gravel. You will want big tires, low gears, and big ambitions. All gravel routes are out and backs so go as far as you can and turn around when needed. There will be food and water placed as stops around each of the routes and lunch waiting at the park. For those that like event t-shirts, we will be offering t-shirts for an additional donation at the park. This amazing ride is a fund raiser and all proceeds go to the teachers in school district 25 that are part of the Riding 4 Focus bike program.
