32nd Annual Run the Tunnel

32nd Annual Run the Tunnel is a 3.8ish Mile Road/Trail footrace hosted by the State of Franklin Track Club and the Scott County Chamber of Commerce, held at the beautiful Natural Tunnel State Park in Duffield, VA Run the Tunnel is part of the State of Franklin Track Club's King & Queen and Trail Series competitions. Awards will be given to the male and female winners in the following categories: Overall, Masters, Grandmasters, and Senior Grandmasters. Awards will also be given (three deep) for both male and female in the following age groups: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & Above. Awards are not traditional trophies or medals but items base on the race "theme of the year." The 2026 race theme is .... "You've Earned Your Stripes" and the awards are handmade zebra-print seat covers! All participants will receive a race t-shirt.
