The Greater Springfield Harriers, Inc., is an athletic club focused on the specific sports of track & field, cross country, long distance running, and race walking that welcome people of all ages and abilities.Founded in 1978, the club is incorporated as a not-for-profit organization in the commonwealth of Massachusetts serving the greater Western Massachusetts region. We our involved in a variety of activities throughout the year including: Weekly Race Series in the Summer and WinterThe 10th Oldest Marathon in the U.S.The Big Fourth 5K in Downtown Springfield, MAWalter W. Childs Sr. Kids-Only Trail Weekly Summer Race Series The Harriers are unique in that the club owns and operates Fast Feet Inc., a retail specialty store for runners which all members receive a discount at. Fast Feet carries a full line of athletic shoes, apparel, and accessories for every runner and track and field athlete, and is conveniently located in West Springfield and Westfield, Massachusetts.
