5K Run for Danny's Pantry

Date:Sunday, June 14, 2026 Location:Clipper PavilionWest Orange, New Jersey Arrival Time:Please plan to arrive no later than 7:45 AM to check in and pick up your race number and shirt. Race Start Time:The race will begin promptly at 8:30 AM. Check-In Info:Check-in will be located at the Clipper Pavilion.Please have your registration confirmation email ready to help us check you in quickly. Parking:There will be plenty of parking available, but arriving early is highly recommended. All proceeds of this event go to supporting Danny's Pantry! In August of 2024, the District of New Jersey’s Board of Judges approved the ​opening of a food pantry named in honor of ​Judge Salas’s son, Daniel Anderl. This pantry, ​known as “Danny’s Pantry,” was established in remembrance ​of the fourth anniversary of Daniel’s tragic death. To transform ​sorrow into positivity, the District Court established this ​pantry to assist the many families in need who come through ​the court doors. Participants in the Pretrial Opportunity ​Program and ReNew Program and others served by this court, ​may obtain food staples donated to the pantry by the federal ​court family and friends. The pantry helps alleviate the burdens faced by ​many poverty-stricken families and individuals while, connecting ​the Court to the surrounding community. There are so many options to be part of one of the very best events that spreads Love and Light. And, you can always donate directly (which is great and saves fees for the charity!) at https://dannyspantry.org/. There will be plenty of parking with direct access to the registration area and the park. Only clear small bags allowed and subject to inspection. Hate is Heavy, LOVE IS LIGHT!
