Mental Health Matters 5k Run/1 Mile Walk

Join us for our 4th annual event! We walk and run in honor of those we’ve lost to suicide and those who have struggled or are struggling with mental health issues. If you are unable to attend the event this year, please consider donating to our fundraising page! All proceeds benefit the American Foundation For Suicide Prevention (AFSP.org) whose mission is to “save lives and bring hope”. We are not alone when we fight together. In 2012 I lost my younger sister, Colleen, who died by suicide. My goal in the years that have followed is to honor her by hosting this event each year with my friend and fellow pediatric nurse, Kirsten. Together we are passionate about engaging our community in movement, support and awareness. Your Mental Health Matters! Please note: This run/walk is dog and stroller friendly. There are bathrooms on-site.
