Walk In My Shoes 2026 - Tallahassee (The Final Miles & Safety Fair)

Join the Lauren’s Kids foundation and thousands of walkers across the state for the 2026 Walk in My Shoes 1,500-mile trek across Florida. April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Child Abuse Prevention Month — every step counts in the fight to prevent child sexual abuse and help survivors heal. WALK IN MY SHOES TALLAHASSEE (The Final Miles & Safety Fair) Date: Friday, May 1st, 2026 Start location: Kleman Plaza (306 S Duval St., Tallahassee, FL 32301) Registration Begins: 2:00 PM Walk Start: 3:30 PM Details: Join us for the Final Miles of Walk In My Shoes 2026! Lauren will lead the final three 3 miles of our 1,500 mile walk across the state. We’ll start in Kleman Plaza (306 S Duval St., Tallahassee, FL 32301) and end on South Adams Street in town for a Safety Fair and celebration for all ages! The Safety Fair is a FREE, family-friendly block party packed with fun! Enjoy hands-on activities, kid-friendly games and giveaways, interactive safety-education booths, and community partners sharing resources. Families can also visit with law enforcement and fire rescue — plus crowd favorites like face painting, a bounce house, snow cones, therapy animals, music, food, and more! Just like in years past, an UBER code will be provided to walkers to cover the cost of a ride back to any location necessary following the walk or Safety Fair.
