July 19-24 | UCONN, Storrs CTJoin us for an all-inclusive, five-day overnight camp designed for junior cyclists (ages 12-18, intermediate to advanced). Train with experienced racers, USAC-licensed coaches, and CCAP staff while riding on campus trails and other trail networks in Tolland County. Whether you're refining your race tactics or looking to tackle epic routes, this camp delivers an unforgettable experience in a fun, supportive atmosphere.What to ExpectDaily skill sessions designed to improve cross-country riding and racing knowledgeEpic rides on a variety of trail systems that give kids exposure to flow trails, jump trails, rock gardens, technical climbs, skinnies and tech, and a whole lot moreDorm accommodations (two campers per room)All meals included, with breakfast, lunch, & dinner at premier dining servicesSmall coaching groups (1:5 ratio) for personalized instructionRoad & MTB camps run together—double the fun and a chance to meet new friends!A Typical Day7:00 AM – Core workout & breakfast9:00 AM – Ride plan review & morning ride1:00 PM – Lunch & recovery2:30 PM – Afternoon skills session5:00 PM – Return to campus & free time6:00 PM – Dinner7:30 PM – Evening clinic or group activity10:00 PM – Lights outWho Should Sign up?Our Summer Mountain Bike Camp is designed for boys and girls aged 12-18 who have an intermediate to advanced level of speed and skill. If you’re passionate about cross-country riding and ready to take your fitness and technique to the next level, this camp is for you!We’re looking for motivated riders who are eager to be challenged at an appropriate level for their age and experience. Expect to climb hills, tackle long rides, and spend plenty of time on singletrack—all while pushing your limits and having a blast. Enthusiasm, a solid fitness base, and a willingness to work hard are key!Device & Communication PolicyCampers can bring phones & devices, but they will be safely stored from Sunday to Friday to encourage socialization. Parents can contact CCAP staff in case of emergencies (staff contact info will be provided).Cost & Registration$1,350 (all-inclusive: lodging, meals, coaching); $300 deposit to register, remainder invoiced after registration. While we are still finalizing the details, please expect a Sunday afternoon drop-off and Friday afternoon pick-up that week.The CCAP is a USA Cycling Center of Excellence
