Spotswood Annual 5K Race/Walk Race Date: Saturday, September 12th 2026 RACE INFO: »Our event date will be Saturday, September 12th, 2026. Walkers will be sent out at 8:45 am and the 5K runners will start at 9 am. EVENT INFO: » 7:15am - 8:15am: Race Day Check In/In-Person Registrations » 8:15am: HARD STOP on all NEW registrations. Pre-Registered participants can continue check in until race time. » 8:25am: Opening Ceremony/Presentation of the Colors/National Anthem » 8:45am: Walkers Being. » 9:00am: 5K Runners Begin. Awards will be presented after runners have completed the course. REGISTRATION INFO: » Fee: $30 Early-Bird until 8/29/26; $40 from 8/30/26 and in person registration » Day Of Registration: In person, will be from 7:15am until 8:15am » PLEASE NOTE: Due to time constraints we will have a HARD STOP on all new in person registrations at 8:15am. » T-Shirts for Pre-Registered participants (Day of Registrations are while supplies last) » Trophies for top finishers. THE COURSE: » The Spotswood 5K Race course will take you through thestreets of Spotswood. There are volunteers throughout thecourse and white arrows painted on the street to guide youthrough the race. There will be two water stations set up on the course. Thefirst station is at the one mile mark, and the second at the twomile mark. Please note that a 15 minute mile pace or faster is requiredfor the 5k. A 15 min. mile pace is roughly four miles per hour,equivalent to a very brisk walk. If you fall below this pace, the race organizers can no longerguarantee course support. Water Stations, medical support,Bathrooms, and road closures will begin to becomeunavailable to participants. The local police and raceorganizers will ask you to either move up onto the sidewalk orrequire you to be transported further up on course to catchup to the 15 min. per mile group.
