Enjoy refreshments, and shop our SCAD Store afterwards. South Park is a large historic, kid-friendly and dog friendly park. OUR CAUSE Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD) is a little-known and poorly understood cause of a heart attack. Most patients are young, healthy, and active women who do not have the typical risk factors of heart disease. Although less common, it can affect men too. SCAD can reoccur and can be fatal. Research is needed to identify the cause(s) and the best treatment options. SCAD is the #1 cause of heart attacks in women under age 50, pregnant women & new moms. SCADaddle Our timed 5K run/walk takes place in South Park - Edgebrook Field on Buffalo Drive. Awards: All runners and walkers will be timed. Awards will be given to the top three (3) overall male and female and the top male and top female in each of the following age categories: 0-10, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. We encourage all participants to run or walk at their own pace. Register by September 1, 2026, to guarantee this year's t-shirt.
