Carry the Fallen 5k and Half Marathon

Join us on Saturday, November 7, 2026, for the return of the Carry the Fallen 5K and Half Marathon at the Active Heroes Retreat in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. Held on the Saturday before Veterans Day, Carry the Fallen is a legacy Active Heroes event created to honor and support the men and women who have served our country. Both races will feature a unique hybrid course combining wooded trails and gravel roads throughout the beautiful Active Heroes property. Most of the course miles will take runners along peaceful wooded trails, creating a challenging and fun race experience. The organization is operated by volunteers, and all profits from the Carry the Fallen 5K and Half Marathon will help provide programs, services, and support for military and veteran communities.
