MWR Liberty: Comic Con Volunteer Interest List

**PLEASE READ VOLUNTEER EVENT DESCRIPTION BEFORE REGISTERING FOR OUR INTEREST LIST. Take part in the opportunity to volunteer at the 2026 International Comic Con Convention in sunny San Diego! Volunteers will volunteer for a 3- hour shift and, when their shift is over, be able to enjoy the convention for free! Assignments and Volunteer Times are still to be determined at a later date closer to the event. Cosplay is encouraged! 😎 VOLUNTEER RESTRICTIONS: **THIS MWR LIBERTY VOLUNTEER INTEREST PAGE IS OPEN TO ACTIVE DUTY E1-E6 ONLY** **ALL ACTIVE DUTY E1-E6 PATRONS ARE LIMITED TO SELECTING ONE CONVENTION DAY TO VOLUNTEER. PICK THE DAY YOU PREFER (Thursday, July 23rd, Friday, July 24th, Saturday, July 25th, OR Sunday, July 26th). MAKE SURE TO PUT IN YOUR LEAVE IF YOU HAVE A WORK CONFLICT.** RSU CONFIRMATION EMAIL: DISCLAIMER: This registration page serves as a volunteer interest list and is the FIRST STEP towards officially joining our MWR Liberty Special Volunteer group. Registering on this page does not guarantee that you will volunteer with us. You will need to reply to future email correspondence to confirm your availability. FUTURE COMMUNICATION: MWR Liberty communication with volunteers will mainly occur via email (so please provide the best email address at registration). In mid-June (around 6/19), all signups will be contacted by email and be asked to confirm attendance. Keep an eye out for this email. There will be a deadline to respond and if we don't hear back, we will offer your spot to someone on the waitlist. This is a hard deadline. You are responsible for checking your email and responding accordingly. COMIC CON MEMBER ID: During registration you will be asked to enter your Comic Con Member ID. If you don't already have one, please create a Comic Con Member ID, at www.comic-con.org. Please note that your Comic Con Member ID is case-sensitive (spacing and lowercase versus uppercase, matters). Please be sure to input your exact Comic Con member ID as it appears on your Comic Con Portal. If we have issues looking up your Comic Con Member ID, you will be contacted. TRANSPORTATION: MWR Transportation is provided and highly recommended due to high vehicle congestion in downtown for the Convention. Please select your preferred pick-up location during registration. There are two available pick-up locations: The Recyard (NBSD) and VADM Martin Liberty (NASNI). Alternatively, you may choose to coordinate your own transportation to the convention.
