NWANA Nordic Walking Series 2026

The NWANA Nordic Walking Series 2026 is a new competition and participation series from the Nordic Walking Association of North America. It brings together official Nordic Walking divisions and separate supporting Walking and Running series, creating one event experience for athletes, walkers, runners, teams, clubs, employers, schools, sponsors, organizers, and community supporters. Nordic Walking participants are part of the official sport pathway. Supporting Walking and Running participants can join the event experience, compete for participation recognition, prizes, or community awards, and help grow the visibility and reach of Nordic Walking. Official Nordic Walking results, rankings, and championship standings remain separate from the supporting Walking and Running series. The Nordic Walking structure may include 1K, 3K, 5K, 10K, 15K, and 20K series with periodic stages during the season. This series is being built to create more opportunities for participation, results, recognition, sponsors, local groups, and long-term Nordic Walking development.
