Wednesday Night Disco "Rescheduled for June 3rd!"

Updated Course: Due to construction on Riverland Road, the course has been rerouted. This new route is slightly longer but has about the same elevation gain, with more technical downhills. Please review the course before signing up.New Course Details: The course begins below the loop de loop bridge. Once you are at the start, follow the Mill Mountain Greenway up and turn right onto Understory Trail. Follow understory till you reach Ridgeline intersection. turn right on to Ridgeline. Once you're at the intersection of Ridgeline and Riser, cross the road, turn right onto the JB Fishburn Parkway, and continue across the street to descend Sidewinder for approximately 0.25 miles. From there, enter the newly built John Peake Pass Trail. Continue downhill until you reach Wood Thrush, where you will turn right and follow it back to Sidewinder (There could be two away traffic: Be Alert). From Sidewinder, cross the JB Fishburn Parkway again and begin descending Monument Trail. At the bottom, turn left onto the Mill Mountain Greenway, then right onto Big Sunny. Once again, bear left at the fork onto Riser. At the top of Riser, turn left onto Ridgeline and follow it to the finish line at the Discovery Center! Groovy, Baby! Grab your fat-tired friends and ride hump day away as you pedal through one of Roanoke’s finest trail systems. With categories for both beginners and expert riders, everyone is welcome! So, don’t be shy. Hop on your bike and get your groove on!This registration is for June 3rd.After the race, stick around for Boogie on the Mountain, featuring live music, food and beverages to keep the good vibes rolling.Check-in will be at the Discovery Center (2000 Jb Fishburn Pkwy SE, Roanoke, VA 24013) from 4:45pm to 5:45 p.m. Racers will then ride down to the Mill Mountain greenway (Toll Road). The start line is right at the loop-de-loop bridge(it will be marked). Make sure you are ready to ride at the starting line before 6:00 p.m.
