Cuts With Cops - Presented by Fleet Feet Roanoke, Carilion Children's, and Roanoke County Sheriffs + Police Depts

Volunteer with us! We're doing it again, but this time... EVEN BIGGER! Fleet Feet Roanoke and our nonprofit Smiles4Tab are bringing the kicks to the community! Join us at Carilion Children's Tanglewood on Saturday August 1 - 9am to 2pm - for Cuts with Cops! This incredible partnership with Roanoke County Police, Roanoke County Sheriff's Office, and Carilion Clinics helps HUNDREDS of local kids access FREE haircuts, back-to-school supplies, and (thanks to Smiles4Tab) free shoes! All of the contributions our community has made to Smiles4Tab throughout the year - whether that's through a one-time donation or raising money through The Big Run, THIS is what it's all about. The Big Run raised over $7,500 this year!! That means we're able to set a goal of outfitting up to 750 kids with new shoes in time for back-to-school preparations. But we still need your help! Check out our school supplies donation list, snag some items, and drop them by our store to help stuff those backpacks so every kid that comes to Cuts with Cops is able to start the school year off prepared and ready to move! Volunteer tasks include: measuring kiddos' feet! selecting shoes for kidsset up and break down of the Fleet Feet Roanoke setup Volunteers will report to Carilion Children's Tanglewood at 8:30am, on the side of the building closest to Kroger/Barnes & Noble. The event itself begins at 9am and lasts until supplies run out. We're anticipating serving 750 children at this event! End time of volunteer shift is anticipated around 2pm.
