Henry County 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb 2026

Join All Vets, nonprofit organizations, and the Henry County Sheriff's Office on 9/12/2026 at the annual Henry County 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb. This year marks the 25th Anniversary of the tragic events that took place on 9/11/2001. Together as a community, we will reflect, remember, and finish the climb. 2071 steps on the grandstand of the iconic Martinsville Speedway. Event Details: September 12, 2026, 10 AM - Martinsville Speedway Grandstand (Turn 4 gate)Early Packet Pickup: September 11, 2026, 3 PM - 5 PM - Martinsville Speedway Parking Lot (near Turn 4 gate)Event Day Packet Pickup: 8 AM - 9:45 AM (Martinsville Speedway (Turn 4 gate) Register by August 20, 2026, to receive an event shirt. Registration will remain open until event day. This is an untimed event. Go at your own pace. Do all 2071 steps or as many as you can. Hydration and snacks will be provided to participants.All proceeds go to Henry County's volunteer rescue squads and fire departments. The public is welcome to attend and watch from the track. Only registered participants are allowed on the grandstand.
