OVERCOMER 5K & 13.1 Mile Half Marathon

For years, I quietly battled suicidal thoughts that began in childhood. It often felt like hope was out of reach, but everything changed when I found healing through faith, supportive people, and running. Every mile reminded me I was stronger than the struggles I faced, and meeting others on similar journeys showed me I was never alone. My journey of overcoming continues every day—and that’s why I created OVERCOMER: to remind others that no matter what they’re facing, there is always hope. OVERCOMER is more than a race-it's a movement dedicated to raising awareness for mental health and suicide prevention. This event is created to honor those we have lost, support those who are struggling, and remind every person that they are not alone. Together, we are stronger. Together, we overcome. Come join us.
