Join us from anywhere in the world for the Tough Genes DNA Dash 5K! This event allows supporters, families, and advocates to come together to raise awareness and funding for ultra-rare genetic disorders, no matter where they are! A virtual 5K means you can complete the 3.1 miles in a way that works for you. Run, walk, roll, bike, or hike your distance wherever and whenever you choose on or before September 26th 2026. Hit the road in your neighborhood, find a scenic trail, hop on a treadmill, or gather friends and family for your own local mini-event. Participants are encouraged to share their experience on social media, wear their Tough Genes gear, and help spread awareness. Every step taken helps bring visibility to families navigating ultra-rare diagnoses and supports the mission of Tough Genes to translate research to treatment options for IRF2BPL-Related Disorder (NEDAMSS).
