The Bay to Braman Bolt 7: Ultimate Uphill Challenge

About The Bay to Braman Bolt:Ready to conquer Northport's Braman hill? Join us for the 7th annual Bay to Braman Bolt – where Northport's heart meets its history! This exhilarating 1.1-mile uphill foot-race takes you from the stunning Northport Bay marina, through our charming downtown, along the scenic Nagonaba Footpath, and up to the majestic summit of Braman Hill. Do you have what it takes to #BEATBRAMAN? Race begins 9am SHARP! Registration table opens 7:30am @ Northport Marina. Award ceremony @ 9:30am atop Braman Hill. Optional celebratory run back down to The Bay (Will Harper's Waukazoo Walkdown) @ 10am. Come for The Bolt, Stay for The Dog Parade Want to do something fun after The Bolt? Northport's 29th annual Dog Parade starts at 12pm. Feel free to watch or even participate. Dog Parade registration ends @ 10:30am at Northport Marina (same place as The Bolt). Distance:1.1-miles, 200-ft elevation gain from Northport Bay marina to the top of Braman Hill. Start Details: The race will include a wave start at Northport Marina @ 9am SHARP. Runners who are attempting to win will be asked to line up first. Giveaway: Ages 10+ receive a Bolt 7 T-shirt as part of registration fee. T-shirts for children 9 and under can be purchased for $20 since they run for free. Bananas, watermelon, and water will be provided for free at the top of Braman Hill thanks to our sponsor, Tom's Food Markets. Awards: Top male & female finishers for each age division will receive a medal.Overall winner will receive a plaque, hand-crafted by Bulls-I Inc. in Traverse City. Parking: Plenty of free parking available at Northport Marina. Packet Pickup: Registration begins @ Northport Marina 7:30am. Closes 8:50am. Age Divisions: 0-9, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39 and so on.
