MLVFD Fired Up for the 4th 5K

The 3rd Annual Mountain Lakes Volunteer Fire Department "Fired Up for the 4th 5K Run” will be held June 20th! Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a leisurely stroll, this 5K is the perfect way to kick off summer. Runners, runners with strollers, walker, and kids are all welcome. We've got a day packed with excitement. Discounted entry fees for fire, police, and EMS entrants. Awards will be given to the fastest male and female firefighters, police, EMS, and runners overall as well as to age group winners. Proceeds from the event will help the Mountain Lakes Fire Department better protect the Mountain Lakes community and our firefighters. Your entry fees will enable the Department to purchase new firefighting and safety equipment and enhance training. On-street parking will be available on Pocono Road and West Shore Road and other nearby neighborhood streets off of West Shore Road (Roberts Drive, Arden Road) DO NOT PARK ON EAST SHORE ROAD, NORTH CRANE, OR CRANE, as these roads are part of the 5K course route. All pre- and post-race activities will take place at the far end of the parking lot. Day of race registration, day of race bib and t-shirt (if you registered before the t-shirt deadline) pickup, music, refreshments, firefighting demonstrations, the awards ceremony and award pickup will take place in the parking lot at St. Catherine's. Approximately 5-10 minutes before the start of the race, we will proceed as a group over to the start line on East Shore Road, where the race will begin and end.
