MAUMEE GLOW 5K REC RACE/WALK

In its 46th year, this 5K race/walk (formerly the Maumee Rec Race) has a fun, new look and special activities! Come enjoy our second Glow event at Maumee High School on a flat and fast course. Awards given to both Male/Female Overall, Master (40+) and Grand Masters (50+) in the race. Every participant in the race or walk receives a free Chick-fil-A coupon. Bring along your friends and family to participate and enjoy the summer evening in Maumee! Race day registration opens at 6:30 p.m. July 10, 2026 **Cooling Station Provided by Maumee Fire Dept.** Every dollar of the proceeds goes to support the Maumee Senior Center's programs and services for seniors. Be sure to wear your best festive and illuminated attire for the Most Illuminated Costume Contest! MAUMEE GLOW5K REC RACE/WALKFRIDAY, JULY 10, 2026 ALL PROCEEDS BENEFIT THE MAUMEE SENIOR CENTERTIME: RACE REGISTRATION OPENS at 6:30 P.M.; 5K RACE / WALK BEGINS at 7:30 P.M.**Cooling Station Provided by Maumee Fire Dept.**REGISTRATION LOCATION: Maumee High School, 1147 Saco Street, Maumee, OHCOURSE: Start and finish at the high school with one water stop on the 5K course. Course is accurately measured. AWARDS:- Male/Female Overall, Master (40+), & Grand Masters (50+) in the 5K race. The walk is non-competitive.- Age group awards (at least three deep) in the 5K race. No duplication of awards.- Male/Female: 9 & under, 10-14, 15–19, 20–24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75–79, 80 & older- Every participant receives a free Chick-fil-A coupon SHIRTS, REFRESHMENTS, and OTHER INFO:- All preregistered participants will receive a T-shirt. A very limited number of shirts will be available on race day.- Want a shirt in your size? Preregister!- One water stop on the course.
