Mission: Finish Line for Your Behind Come dressed as your favorite superhero to help avenge colon cancer. Capes encouraged, courage required. We will have several family-friendly games, and please bring your four-legged friends. Please register your kids and indicate if they would like a cape package (absolutely available to our big kids and really fun adults). SATURDAY, August 29th, 2026, at 8:00 AM at Waterfront Park in Louisville RACE FEATURES: Keynote speaker Mark Furnish: Diagnosed with colon cancer in 2022 during his first colonoscopy at age 59. He was encouraged to be screened after the diagnosis of fellow firefighter, Bruce DeArk, and the encouragement of his wife, Janna. Mark is thankful to now be cancer-free and encourages everyone to get checked. Mark has been a Firefighter with the Monroe Township Fire Department for 44 years and has 2 daughters and 2 grandchildren.
