JOIN THE SHORE A.C. Special award to the overall male and female winner as well as to the male and female winner of each 10-year age group. Every Saturday morning at 9:00 AM rain or shine, we will offer a 5K XC race! Team, age group and individual scoring, series prizes and more! All ages (16+) and abilities are welcome! Join a team, create a team, or run as an individual through the trails of Monmouth County’s most beautiful and challenging parks. We encourage running clubs, businesses, groups, friends, and family members, ​to create a team and join us. You only need 3 female and/or 3 male members per race to score! Awards will be presented after the last race of the series. Online registration for the Series or each week is strongly encouraged. DATES & LOCATIONS For 6 weeks, Shore A.C. hosts a 5K cross country race at a different county park. Course maps will be available shortly. All registration will go through RunSignUp. Limited race day registration MAY be available if space is available.$50 for the series or $10 per race RULES & AWARDS Winning female and male team awards Team scoring based on best 4 weeks. Each team needs 3 male and 3 female finishers to score as a team. Traditional XC scoring with one point deducted for 1st male and female master in 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s age group. For example, if a team goes top 3 in the male and female they would have a score per gender of 6 and a combined team score of 12. If they have the top 40 year old male and top 60 year old female their score would be reduced by two to 10. Individual displacement will occur for team scoring. ​Individual age group custom awards will be presented on the final day to the 1st male and female in open, 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's categories based on each person's best 4 finishes.
