Tour de Keuka Kids Bike Rodeo

United Way of the Southern Tier and Corning Credit Union will hold a free children’s Bike Safety Rodeo as part of the Tour de Keuka charity ride at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 1, at the Hammondsport Fire Station grounds.Children will learn about basic bicycle safety rules and participate in games. All participants must bring their own bicycle and wear a bike helmet.All participants will be entered into a drawing to win prizes. MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN.Each participant is asked to bring a new, unopened hygiene item for the Back-to-School toiletries drive (i.e. toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, bar soap, shampoo, conditioner, combs and brushes).Registration is free and is requested in advance. Registration is limited to 60 participants.Tour de Keuka, sponsored by Kennedy Valve, is an annual charity bike ride around Keuka Lake to benefit programs supported by United Way of the Southern Tier.
