Rock to Pier Bus Trip

Sierra Challenge Express welcomes you to register for its annual bus trip to the 2026 Brian Waterbury Memorial Rock to Pier Fun Run and Rock’n Around the Pier Half Marathon! -- Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis, and there are a total of 40 available seats -- Important Information Requirements The bus trip is reserved for Sierra Challenge Club Members ONLY. Fortunately, membership to the Sierra Challenge Express club is inexpensive, and it is easy to register: https://runsignup.com/Club/CA/Fresno/SierraChallengeExpressRunningClub Lunch and light snacks will be provided Registration for the Brian Waterbury Memorial Rock to Pier Fun Run and Rock’n Around the Pier Half Marathon is required, as registered runners are prioritized for the bus trip (registration is first come, first served). As the event date approaches, the event directors may be permit SCE club members who wish to be a race spectator register for the event on a first-come, first serve basis Members must indicate team "Sierra Challenge Express" when registering for the race. Must be 13 years or older. Minors must be accompanied by a guardian. No Pets Race Day Logistics: Pick-up Pick-up Location: Fleet Feet Fresno9447 N Fort Washington Rd #106Fresno 93730 The bus will arrive at 4am for passenger loading. The bus will be leaving Fleet Feet promptly at 4:30am. There will be one additional pick-up point: Pick-up Location: Chevron Station25 S 19 ½ AveLemoore 93245 It is approximately a 45-50 minute drive from Fleet Feet Fresno to the Chevron Station. Therefore, we ask that if you plan to be picked up in Lemoore, you arrive at 5am, as the bus will leave no later than 5:20am. ** Additionally, if you plan to be picked up at Lemoore, please contact the club at SierraChallengeExpressClub@gmail.com, so that our bus directors can be in contact with you the morning of the trip** Race Day Logistics: 2026 Schedule 4am - Bus arrives at Fleet Feet 4:30am - Bus departs Fleet Feet (Promptly!) 5:20am - Bus departs Lemoore Chevron station (Promptly!) 7:30am - Bus arrives at Morro Rock 8:00 am - Races (10k and half) Start 3pm - Depart Morro Bay Race Day Logistics: Additional Information We highly recommend bringing an extra set of clothes, including shoes (The Rock to Pier website itself states, “This event is held on the beach – you will get wet”). These extra items can be left on the bus, but we ask that you be mindful of not leaving anything valuable unattended Lunch is tentatively set to be provided by Harbor Hut in Morro Bay. Sierra Challenge Express will be footing the lunch bill. As such, we will be providing a curated menu.
