2026 Southwest Youth Mile Race Series

The Southwest Youth Mile Race Series consists of three separate one mile cross country races open to all boys and girls of elementary school age. Races will be professionally chipped and timed by Ruble Timing. There will be individual awards AND team awards based on overall scoring by grade and gender. Location: Indian Trails Park, in the field at the very back of the park Race dates: August 26, September 9, September 23 Race schedule (rain or shine): 4:30-5:15 pm – Race bib pickup5:30 pm – 3rd grade (and younger) race5:45 pm – 4th grade race6:00 pm – 5th grade race6:30 pm – Awards Awards for 2026! Individual Awards for each division: 1st place trophy 2nd-10th place medals 11th-25th place ribbons Team Awards: 1st place Team Plaque for each division You can find a map of the 1 mile course in the 'photos' link at the bottom of this page. Note: There will be NO race day registration. Registration will close 24 hours prior to each race.
