This is the fastest ultra course we have - approachable and great for a 1st time 25/50k or a Personal Record!Part of our 200k No Way! & 300k Grand Slam!! series This race is put on by The Best Dam Volunteers In The Land (TBDVITL) of the Ohio River Road Runner’s Club a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Have an ultra-great time by volunteering (Click on Volunteer under More at the top of this page)! We all need a little help from our friends! WHEN: Sunday, August 16, 2026, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. (Early Start 7:30 a.m.) Registration is limited & Price increases after tax day and thereafter.The start is 8 am and finish at 4 pm, allowing 8 hours, or 8-1/2 with early start. 7 a.m. Gate Opens7:10-7:55 a.m. Packet Pickup/Check in at Lawwill Shelter7:30 a.m. Early Start *notes: You need to notify the RD/timer & are not eligible for Overall Awards*8 a.m. 50K & 25K Starts (all together)2:10 p.m. Must start the final lap, Sweeper/s head out4 p.m. Race ends4-5 p.m. Clean up & Load outWHERE: Englewood MetroPark (West Park Entrance) – 100 E. National Rd., Englewood, OH 45322 From either east or west, take I-70 to the State Route 48 exit and head north on Route 48 into Englewood. DO NOT CROSS DAM (unless you are a Patty Shelter volunteer). Race starts on the west side of the park! Lawwill Shelter is Packet Pickup, Start/Finish & Aid Station.PARKING: The park gate will open at 7 a.m. Use entrance ER-5 at the intersection of National Road (US 40) and Main Street (US 48) in downtown Englewood. Follow the park road to the parking lot. There are restrooms at the start/finish and the other aid station, as well as a 3rd between the 2 aid stations.COURSE: A 7.77 MILE LOOP IS RUN 4 TIMES FOR 50K or 2 TIMES FOR 25K. It is a mix of trail, grass & pavement with 459+ feet of ascent, 3 waterfalls & 3 aid station visits per loop. COURSE MAP HERE (to download the .GPX or .FIT file by clicking the 3 dots, see left panel's lower right corner - or on pc right click settings icon on upper-right corner)AID STATIONS: The Lawwill shelter where you start & finish the loop, & the Patty Shelter where you go twice per 7.77 mile loop! These manned aid stations will include: water, electrolytes, chips, pretzels, pickles/pickle juice, PB&J, fruit & non-fruit sweets. DROP BAGS: You may leave drop bags at Lawwill Shelter or in your vehicle, or you may drop them yourself at Patty Shelter. PACERS: Pacers are allowed with a waiver
