*UPDATE 5/27/26 - For Sunday's Iowa State Criterium Championship all riders are welcome to compete but only Iowan's with valid USAC Race license are eligible for the state championship title*UPDATE 5/26/26 - Women 1/2/3 Omnium CHANGED to Women OPEN Category We are excited to have you in Des Moines for the Confluence Cup!Here are some the details for the weekend:MRKT Eliminator - Market District - ScheduleAll riders will be put in to a randomizer to determine qualifying heats. We will send out the start lists on Wednesday for the heats so you will know when you will race. Day of registrants will be randomly assigned so come ready to race!The top 5 riders in the qualifier (15 minutes) will advance directly to the Final (20 minutes). Any riders outside of the top 5 will head to a last chance qualifier (15 minutes). The top 2 finishers in the LCQ will advance to the Final. TBD Crit - Water Works (Back Loop) - Schedule1.5 Mile Circuit race with minimal elevation gain/loss. This course will test your cornering ability with mostly sweeping curves but with a tighter S-curve right before the finishing straight. This one will come down to positioning in the last lap! Rip the Aves - Iowa State Crit Championship - Ingersoll Ave - ScheduleThe grand finale! Rip the Aves is back and bigger than ever, serving as the official 2026 Iowa State Criterium Championship! Join the massive street party on Ingersoll Avenue, cheer on the cyclists as they battle for the State Champion title, and enjoy food, music, and community festivities all day long. We cannot wait to see you in Des Moines this Spring!
