Can you Conquer the Canal? We'll give you FIVE different ways to do it!​​The Conquer the Canal Race Series comprises a Certified Marathon, Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k, in addition to a Family Fun Run 5k. Each race will guide its runners alongside the beautifully scenic waterways of the C&D Canal! The Conquer the Canal races are great for both experienced and new runners! Why? The majority of the course is very level and on solid ground, making it a smooth run with beautiful views of the water and nature! These course conditions allow those with experience to stretch their legs and challenge their PR on a certified course, while being amazing conditions for those running their first races or those ready to conquer a certified 5K or marathon! Your run makes a difference! The Conquer the Canal Race Series donates proceeds to many worthy local charities and non-profit organizations in New Castle County.
