DFW Summer Series Race 1

The HOTTEST Racing in Town! The DFW Summer Series presented by Sun & Ski Sports! The DFW Summer Series is an annual favorite for all mountain bikers in North Texas. For the 2026 season we are headed to Big Cedar Wilderness trail in Dallas Texas. Races are held on Thursday nights ALL summer long. Race schedule as follows: Thursday June 4, 2026Thursday June 11, 2026Thursday June 18, 2026Thursday June 25, 2026Thursday July 9, 2026 (raindate only)Thursday July 16, 2026 (raindate only) The DFW Summer Series is presented by Sun & Ski Sports. Visit one of the 5 locations across Dallas Fort Worth. Whether cycling, hiking, skiing, or any outdoor sport Sun & Ski Sports can get you geared out for adventure. Thank you Sun & Ski Sports for supporting local, accessible and family friendly racing in DFW! Format Races will be mass start on a short track course of 3.1 miles in length. Most categories will do multiple laps of the course. Big Cedar is known for it's technical singletrack and punchy climbs, but we have found a great short track course that is flat, fast and will be a ton of fun. This course will test riders with tight corridors, winding turns and plenty of rocks and roots. Watch out! There is a technical creek and bridge crossing towards the end of each lap. All AGES are calculated based on the participant age at the end of the year (12/31/2026). This is done so that all participants will race within the same category or age bracket for the full series.
