30th Annual Mosquito Lake Chase

30th Annual Mosquito Lake Chase 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk Maplewood High School - Mecca, OH 9:00 am-Memorial Day, Monday, May 25th, 2026 Proceeds from the Mosquito Lake Chase are dedicated to the Oscar Grant Scholarship Fund and other Maplewood Running Rockets activities. Oscar Grant was a teacher, coach, official, WWII Veteran, and friend of all that met him. Entry Fee: $22 fee for pre-registered runners, the race day entry fee is $25. Shirts are guaranteed for the first 100 registrants. Online Registration and more race information visit Online Registration. Online registration will close at midnight on Friday, May 22nd, 2026 Both races start at 9:00 am. Packet pick-up and day-of-race registration will be held at Maplewood High School located just east of Mecca Circle on Route 88. Day-of-race registration begins at 7:30 am. Prize money awards will be presented in the 5K to the top 3 male and female finishers overall: $75, $50, and $25. Awards will also be presented to the top 3 finishers of the 5K and the first finisher of the mile in each of these age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over, male and female.
