Kick off the Chickamauga Blue & Gray BBQ Festival with the Meat Sweats Sizzler Run — a fun and festive race designed to get you moving before diving into some of the best barbecue in the region. Whether you're chasing a fast 5K or just looking for a fun challenge with friends and family, this race is all about community, laughter, and working up the perfect appetite for ribs, brisket, and all the festival favorites waiting at the finish line. Costumes are welcome — bacon, pigs, pitmasters, or anything BBQ inspired! Run first… BBQ after. 🏃 Distances5K – Meat Sweats Sizzler 1 Mile – Hot Sauce Mile 🌶️The Hot Sauce Mile is for runners who like to bring a little heat. During the race, participants will have the option to take a quick hot sauce dash as part of the challenge. It’s short, spicy, and all in good fun. 🎽 Swag & AwardsEvery participant will receive a race t-shirt and earn a finisher medal at the finish line.
