About this event
Our Junior Mountain Bike Overnight Camps are geared towards ambitions male and female cyclists between the ages of 13 and 18 who are motivated to challenge themselves and experience the best mountain biking Virginia has to offer. We are fortunate to have some of the Country's best mountain bike destinations within driving distance and take full advantage of that proximity. Daily rides and skills sessions, combined with seminars from area professionals covering topics ranging from nutrition and training to mechanics and bike fit ensure even the most experienced riders will come away with increased knowledge and confidence in the sport. Enduro Camp - June 29-July 5Back for another full week in 2026!As one of the most popular disciplines in cycling, Enduro is all about skills, speed, and fun; and can be as laid back or competitive as each individual rider chooses to make it. There is no denying that as the sport has grown, more and more mountain bike trails are being designed with lines and features to thoroughly test a rider's skillset. At this camp, we will provide all riders with the tools necessary to improve their skills and build confidence on the bike, which will lead to more enjoyable, safer, and more efficient riding. You also can't discredit the amount of fitness and endurance that is required to safely and enjoyably participate in the sport. We will be riding multiple hours each day of camp, and our coaches will address ways to build your fitness during rides and in evening seminars. Teaching everyone these skills and lessons will be several of the region's top male and female mountain bikers - who have decades of combined competition experience along with multiple years of leading instructional mountain bike courses. As an Enduro Camp, we will be riding more challenging and technical trails around the state of Virginia. All campers must be at an advanced level on the mountain bike to attend. Full-face helmets are required, and full-suspension mountain bikes are strongly recommended. A comprehensive Information Packet with a full list of recommended gear to bring will be emailed to all registrants 2-3 weeks before camp begins.Exact ride locations will be finalized in the weeks before camp and are subject to change, but campers can anticipate riding on the following trail networks over the duration of the camp:StokesvilleBryce Mountain ResortMassanuttenHorseshoe FarmMiller School of Albemarle Campus Trails Travel Camp - July 5-11A full week of big mountains and adventure!Often referred to by counselors as a mountain bike "lifestyle" camp, the Mountain Bike Travel Camp takes advantage of everything that makes fat-tire riding great in the state of Virginia.
