Superhero Charity Fun Run & Walk

Join us for a fun and uplifting 5K that supports a local nonprofit dedicated to serving hardworking families, individuals experiencing homelessness, children facing food insecurity, and seniors throughout the Charlevoix community. July 11, 2026Registration & Check In: 7:30 am - 8:00 amRace begins at 8:00 am at Michigan Beach Park Pavilion$20 for Adults and $10/Child under 12 Wear your favorite superhero costume! Don't have a favorite superhero? Create your own!Mom/Dad/Cousin/Hamster/Librarian/Kool-Aid guy your superhero? Do it!Odd Squad? Super Hero Elementary? Penguin? Absolutely! Just want to carry a light saber and wear an awesome cape? Bring it!Just want to be apart of the fun without a costume? Go ahead! Additional Details: Route will begin and end near the pavilion at Michigan BeachThe course will be clearly marked with signs posted along the route.This event will be held rain or shine, so please dress appropriately for the weather.Strollers are welcome, and friendly, leashed pets are encouraged to join the fun.Free parking is available for all participants.Water and light refreshments will be provided at the finish line.The first 30 adults will receive a swag bag.All children will receive a swag bag while supplies last All proceeds go to support Safe Haven Ministries CHX a local non-profit that has been loving and serving the residents of the Charlevoix community for 13 years through free bi-weekly breakfasts, summer feeding program for lower income students, free school supply distribution, and a winter emergency men's winter homeless shelter.
