About this event

WHATNorth Carolina Blueberry Festival 5K Run The NC Blueberry Festival 5K kicks of a full Saturday of events during the 23rd Annual North Carolina Blueberry Festival featuring live music, craft vendors, a car and truck show, a pie-eating contest, and of course, lots of fresh blueberries. Runners experience the picturesque small-town charm of historic downtown Burgaw during the town's premier event of the year. The festival also hosts a non-competitive bicycle ride on Saturday morning - the Tour de Blueberry. There's nothing like finishing a brisk run or ride with some fresh, locally grown blueberries! STAY FOR THE NC BLUEBERRY FESTIVALAs the race finishes, the NC Blueberry Festival kicks off and provides participants with an array of music and attractions to enjoy all day long! For more information on the NC Blueberry Festival, visit their website HERE DISTANCES OFFERED5K | This event is timed1 Mile | This event is untimed*You can walk or run either event WHENSaturday, June 20, 2026 WHEREIn Front of Burgaw Presbyterian Church200 E Fremont StreetBurgaw, NC 28425 HOW TO REGISTERRegister Before the Race: Click on the SIGN UP button in the upper right cornerRegister At Pre-Race Packet Pickup or On Race Day: To register at packet pickup or race morning, we will provide a QR code for you to register on your phone. Pender Alliance for Total Health (PATH) provides access to an Integrated System of Care for Pender County youth, their families, teachers and staff. PATH works within the schools to promote wellness for all children and teens within the county. With school-based Health Centers and an integrated care approach, children can be seen where they spend most of their time - at school. Patients get seen the same day and parents don’t have to leave work and try to get an appointment with a doctor. Students miss less school and parents often don’t miss any work!
