DDS Miles for Smiles 5K

CHECK IN STARTS AT 9:00 AM DAY OF RACE This event aims to promote community health and wellness while raising awareness about the importance of oral health. We are proud to be partnering with High Country Community Health to increase awareness of oral cancer and its impact on our community. As part of this initiative, we are planning to provide oral cancer screenings during the event, helping to educate participants about early detection and prevention. Proceeds from the 5K will help fund the pre-dental club at App State’s outreach efforts, including travel to free healthcare clinics such as RAM (Remote Area Medical) and MOM (Mission of Mercy) clinics. These clinics provide essential dental and health services to underserved populations and are often located several hours away, making travel funding essential for student volunteers. Race Fee includes t-shirt and bib while supplies last! Please note this race will not be timed professionally, but it will be timed by volunteers!
